    So my company is trying to recruit panelist on slickdeals, however our post keep getting removed because they do not allow self promotion.
    What I have been asked to do is find someone I know that regularly uses the site (because, I guess there is something about having history on the site in order to post) To post something for us, but within slickdeals rules, and she will give them a $20 Amazon gift card. She has written something up that she believes is within the rules. I am looking over their conditions as well.

    Don't feel bad if you are uncomfortable doing so, for any reason.

    oh dang. I totally have a sign in from 2005, but I seriously can't remember if I have ever posted anything.

    Does time give you history, or is it post history only?

    I guess there are user ratings, like if you post something awesome and people use it they give you props. So posts from people with higher ratings are more valid.

    what are you promoting and why on SD?

    SD's user base is Ultra critical... would it be better to target some other forums?
