My computer has a virus and I'm unsure how to get rid of it.

Harley, don't be mad at me.

    I don't deserve a computer :/

Well, the horrible thing is, Harley literally JUST made my computer quite literally a brand new computer. So, now I just feel stupid. woohoo! Fortunately, I don't think it's too serious. I may just need to get in touch with one of them to ask them a question or 2 I'm going to see if I can';t take care of it on my own first. Wish me luck!

I'm running the Comodo scan now, so hopefully once it's done, it will tell me what to do! haha

yeah i dunno... comodo should basically tell you if you have a virus and give you a big remove button
it should actually pop up and give you the remove button before the virus can do any damage

I think something is really wrong. Partially why I haven't been online since this post. I can't apply for jobs because I'm scared it'll get worse while it's on. I'm a sad puppy. I've really messed up, again. The party can be at my house! or anywhere. I'll bring my monitor and computer. And food. or money if need be.

Here's the issues that are occurring (every time I turn on my computer):
Sorry, if this is annoying. You do not have to respond, but if it's something anyone is familiar with maybe you can tell me how to fix myself, if possible.

1)a little white x in a red circle is constantly in my icon tray with a message that says "Warning! Security report. Your Computer is infected! It is recommended to start spyware cleaner tool." It looks like it could be from windows, but really who knoews, and the english sounds somewhat broken. ALso I cannot actually click that circle to bring up any kind of menu, such as with other icons in said tray.
2)various pop-ups. some from internet explorer, which I do not use.
3)my wallpaper doesn't show anymore. But, a pleasant message about Dangerous spyware infecting computer is now displayed.

    Question.
Harley, Is Windows Defender a program I can trust. Was that added by you? Or should I remove that?

windows defender you can trust, it comes with windows. if you're going to run it, do it from the control panel. if you wanna just bring your computer over here, go for it

also, can you right click the thing in the corner?

you could also try hitting f8 before the windows loading screen, boot into safe mode, and run a comodo/defender scan from safe mode - they usually work better

    Update.
    Things are looking up.
My desktop picture came back and things look normal after I deleted something Windows Defender said was on there.

Wait. Back ground picture is gone again. But, I'm not seeing crazy messages about viruses..
