    Or Harley... How the hell do I set up my Outlook email?
    I want it to make applying for jobs easier from my computer at home.
    I went through all the steps, or so I thought... But, it's not working.
    What do I need to put as my incoming mail server?

    And! ps. I did try googling to find the answer... but I failed. IT told me to put:pop.secureserver.net, I tried that. Still doesn't work.

    Ok, I guess I was supposed to put this: pop.gmail.com since it's a gmail account im using, however, still no dice.

    kristina - why do you want to fuck up gmail by filtering it through outlook? gmail is golden as is!

    Kristina what isnt working? Sending or Receiving... or both?

    the gmail site is pretty good, but if u are set on having it in outlook sometimes outlook isnt able to send mail using Gmail's servers because the ISP blocks it (in an attempt to prevent people from spamming)

    Well, I'd like to be able to click on the email address link (such as they have in craigslist in the upper left corner) and the email message box just pops up ready to go.
    I guess it's not a big deal. I just got to do it that way from my work computer and I kind of loved it.

    It doesn't send or receive. It's as if it's not connected even. I'm going to just try to start from the very beginning and see what happens.

    the first link from my search is google's outlook help center. i don't use outlook.

    in any case, if all you want to do is click from CL to open your gmail, this should do it (no outlook)
